McDevitt's cafe

Where can I start? So after driving through Fleetwood on our way home from Blackpool on a rainy day, we spotted an open cafe at around 3pm with parking outside so we didn't have to get wet! Must admit, the area looked deserted for the middle of the 6 weeks holidays, but this was the same in Blackpool and was clearly because of the rain... Being sceptical, I googled McDevitt's cafe to check others had liked it and it wasn't just another cheap and horrible food shop like most in Blackpool... I was surprised to see its rating and thought "this'll do me" Upon going in, where we were made to feel welcome, I got chatting to the owners and ordered a lasagne for myself and curry for my parter. We also ordered a kids chicken nugget meal for our little girl. The food was next level, absolutely amazing and easily one of the best places I've eaten, let alone for a corner cafe... EVERYTHING was home made, presented beautifully and you'd have to be crazy to find fault with any of it!!! Also, we got speaking to the couple who owned and run the business, so friendly and passionate about food. Explained how the make everything themselves, offering to tailor anything to customers needs or preferences. This is their second year in business and wow do they deserve to be there in another 10 years time, the absolute definition of what you'd dream of as food shop owners, so passionate and caring, not just run of the mill processed food options, deep fried and chucked on a plate... My only regret is I didn't take any photos at the time to post with this review. Would not only 100% recommend stopping there if you're passing, I'd say actually go out of your way to visit there and leave a review of your experience too. Thank you so ,uch for your hospitality and I'm sure I will see you again the next time I'm over them ways. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ all the way

What a lovely little find this was whilst out and about in Fleetwood, absolutely fantastic service, lovely food and great prices. All food homemade, definitely recommend to anyone in the area

What a fantastic place, food choices is overwhelming . Lots of good foods and I mean fantastic, it's the best cafe I've ever been to it catches nostalgia in every mouthful. And the price is fantastic!!! Looking forward to coming back.

Came in whilst passing for a breakfast and it was fantastic, really fillin, lovely food, fantastic staff and exceptional value for your money

An absolute treat to visit McDevitt's, our grand niece and grand nephew love it, so do we. Great food and service, very friendly and accommodating. Great range of food and drink including vegetarian and vegan. Superb value for money. Love it.

Fabulous little cafe! Wonderful staff and food. We'll be back!! The food is STILL fantastic and so are the staff.

Just had 2 small breakfasts with my missus. Friendly and polite staff. Food was excellent. £10 for the pair of us including a brew. Highly recommend.
